Recent Londonderry High School graduate, Jessica Morris, will be washing cars on Saturday, August 14, for a good cause. From 8 AM until 2 PM, Jessica will be set up at the BP in Londonderry to wash cars and take donations for the Bella TuckerBella_Tucker_Londonderry NHBella Tucker of Londonderry NH Fund.

“Once I heard the story about Bella Tucker I knew that she needs the money more than I do,” says Jessica about her decision to hold the car wash. “Not only have I decided to do a Car Wash Fundraiser, I have also decided to have my 18th birthday party the following day and I have asked for no presents, just money. I will be taking this money and combining it with the Car Wash money for the Bella Tucker Family.”

She will drive to the hospital within a few days after the car wash and spend the day with Bella. Although Jessica has never met the family, she says that she “had sent a two page letter to Bella Tucker a few weeks ago and her mother told me she loved it. I don’t even know Bella and her family. But I feel like I have gotten to know them a lot better since I have been doing all of this work to help them out.”

Also at the car wash, Jessica will be selling Bella Tucker Wristbands for $5 each. The ice cream truck is scheduled to be there as well. There will also be poster boards with pictures of Bella and a recent update on her condition. Even if your car doesn’t need to be washed, feel free to stop in and make a donation. No donation is too small.
