LONDONDERRY, NH (CNN) - A 9-year-old came home from the hospital this week after becoming ill last Easter, causing her to
lose her arms and legs to an infection.

 Bella Tucker had been hospitalized since April due to a rare form of pneumonia. The 9-year-old slipped into a coma and doctors were forced to amputate her arms and legs.

An eight-year-old girl's life has been turned upside down this year. She was rushed to the hospital around Easter, and she just finally got out Sunday.

A rare disease claimed all her limbs. But she's kept her optimism. And her New Hampshire neighborhood has come together to make home a little less challenging.

LONDONDERRY, N.H. (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston) - A 9-year-old Londonderry girl returned home Sunday for the first time since losing all her limbs to a bacterial infection last Easter.

Bella Tucker was only 8 years old, active in gymnastics and cheerleading, when she was rushed to Boston Children's Hospital with a raging fever. She was diagnosed with Streptococcus Pneumonia Sepsis and fell into a coma. She survived, but doctors had to amputate her arms and legs because of an infection.

A neighborhood block party was held Sunday in Londonderry, N.H., to welcome home a 9-year-old girl who become ill last Easter, causing her to lose her arms and legs to an infection.
